Welcome to FY 2025. It’s a whole new year. Let’s make it a great one.
We already have our first Continuing Resolution. Let’s hope it does not take Congress until April to pass the budget like last year. Even if they do, we here at Skyway are focused on controlling the controllables (i.e. focus on what we can control) – which is taking care of our clients. We are here to help you navigate all aspects of GovCon, regardless of how long it takes Congress to do its job. Here are some highlights from us over the last month.
New Contracting Officer Podcast episodes for you
This month we created podcast episodes on Late Proposals, Section H, Reverse Auctions, and Using LinkedIn in GovCon (with Mark Amtower). These episodes are only available to our Skyway clients (if you’re getting this Skyway Wire, you’re a client J). There are two ways to access these podcasts
1) log in to Skyway Central© and click here, or
2) follow the 3-step process starting here to subscribe through the native podcast app that’s already on your phone. Once you subscribe, the episodes will then download automatically to your phone each week.
New Contracting Officer Podcast Playlists
477 episodes is a LOT of episodes. We created Podcast Playlists to organize these episodes into groups so you can listen to the episodes grouped by topic. This month we added the “Uh-Oh Playlist”. This playlist includes topics for both government and industry to consider when things go sideways. Click here to subscribe to this playlist to get it directly on your native podcast app.
Note: Cesar Lopez from our team is leading the effort to transition all 40+ Contracting Officer Podcast Playlists to the private podcast feed. In the meantime, if there is a playlist you are craving, let us know at [email protected].
What’s new for Skyway?
We’re upgrading our websites as we grow! Both Skywayacq.com and ContractingOfficerPodcast.com are getting needed upgrades and “under the hood” enhancements. Be on the lookout for things to work more smoothly and more quickly. The plan is for you to not notice the transition…but just in case, you may see some hiccups along the way. Mea culpa in advance.
As always, thank you for being a Skyway client. Without Skyway clients, we cannot do any of this.
