GSA Advances OASIS+ Phase II With Expanded Domains, Draft Scorecards – The General Services Administration continues to advance the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus, or OASIS+, contract vehicle through Phase II, marked by expanded service domains and the release of draft scorecards and contract modifications.

A sweeping NDAA change could strip away decades of cost rules for most defense contractors – The new law exempts nontraditional defense contractors from FAR cost principles, certified cost or pricing data, and Defense Department business systems requirements, potentially affecting more than 90% of the defense industrial base.

DHS trades paper FOIA requests for digital filings – Effective next month, the department said the change will increase its workers’ efficiency by speeding up initial data entry and related administrative tasks.

Five things to watch in cybersecurity for 2026 – The past year in federal cybersecurity policy was full of uncertainty, as a change in administration, expiring authorities and the emergence of artificial intelligence converged and led to plenty of questions about the future of the cybersecurity landscape.  Going into 2026, cyber policymakers and experts are expecting some clarity, especially around the interplay of AI and cyber.

Solvere Technical Group, LLC (Solvere), a woman-owned small business (WOSB) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, protests the issuance of a task order to EHS Technologies Corporation (EHS), a WOSB of Moorestown, New Jersey, under task order request for proposals (RFP) No. N00174-24-R-3002-0003, issued by the Department of the Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head Division (IHD) for information technology (IT) services. Solvere challenges the evaluation of its own proposal under both the non-cost and cost factors and contends these evaluation errors resulted in an unreasonable best-value tradeoff.  GAO sustained the protest.

Markon LLC, of Falls Church, Virginia, protests the award of a contract to Analex Corporation, doing business as Arcfield, of Chantilly, Virginia, under request for proposals (RFP) No. 56000025R0116, issued by the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) Acquisition and Digital Solutions Services’ (ADSS) Business Enterprise (BE) for support in the areas of business operations, information technology (IT) engineering support, and BE modernization. Markon asserts that the CIA conducted unreasonable cost realism and past performance evaluations.  GAO sustained the protest.
